Heavy duty bronze deck plates feature a rugged ACME dual thread pattern to prevent stripping and cross-threading (similar to a firefighting hose connection). They also feature a rubber o-ring gasket to help ensure watertight integrity and are easily opened/closed with the included 1 1/2" socket.
