The core is 100% DyneemaT SK75 fiber surrounded by durable, high-tenacity polyester. The high strength core is treated with a proprietary urethane coating that improves fiber-to-fiber abrasion protecting the rope from the inside out. The twill cover design from surface abrasion and snagging. For enhanced performance when racing, the cover can be tapered to reduce weight without significantly reducing tensile strength.
