NEW ENGLAND ROPE REGATTA SINGLE BRAID POLYESTER (BY FOOT OR 600' REEL)
New England Ropes, Regatta Braid. The blend of spun and filament polyester gives this single braid the easy handling and supple feel ideally suited for sheets and control lines. The special S braid construction provides a line that will not kink when running through blocks. The addition of spun fiber allows excellent gripping both on a winch and in hand. Strength and stretch characteristics are similiar to double braided polyester. Regatta Braid is easily spliced.
Tensile Strengths:
1/2" at 8,000lbs
7/16" at 6,500lbs
3/8" at 4,800lbs
5/16" at 3,300lbs
