The impeller and drive magnets are strong, permanent ceramic types, which prevent slippage, ensuring that full motor power is converted into pumping power. Requires a flooded inlet. Must be mounted below the waterline. May be used submerged or not submerged. Capable of handling fresh water, salt water, and mild chemicals.
