Exactly what you want. Gives more light than even the modern OE incandescent tube. Color is about the same for the warm white. 6 LED model is good for focusing light on reading. 9 LED has curved 3x3 arrangement probably better for area light but doesn't make your desk brighter than the 6. Power requirement of 1.2 watts each means all the light you want with no meaningful draw on the starter battery. That's why we bought.
