Brownell Boat Keel Stand, steel base with solid steel flat top including threaded rod with wingnut, 15 to 24", blue base and orange top. Keel stands are used in place of wood blocking under the keel of the boat. These adjustable stands save time and labor when setting a boat. A minimum of two stands are required, but each stand can take 20,000 lbs of boat weight. If more than two are needed they should be evenly spaced along the keel. The design allows easy nesting and stacking for storage. On soft ground a wash plate should be used under each stand.
