Awlgrip 545 Epoxy Primer Converter (D3001). A multi-use, two-component epoxy primer with corrosion and adhesion properties for steel, aluminum, wood, and fiberglass substrates. Use 545 to seal undercoats and surfacing primers before applying finishes. Gives an ideal undercoat for all Awlgrip topcoats. Fast overcoating times. May be applied by spray, brush, or roller above or below the waterline. 1:1 mix ratio by volume with D8001 or D1001 base. Spray reduced 0-25% with T0006. Brush reduced 5-10% with T0031. 2-3 mils (50-75 microns) dry film thickness with 2 coats. Gallon.
